01. / Who we are

LYD Scaling

LYD Scaling is a marketing agency based on Seymour St in Vancouver, Canada. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean LYD Scaling. For any privacy question or request, email info@lydscaling.com.

We follow British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

02. / What we collect

Only what you send us

• Details you enter in our contact form or put in an email: your name, email address, company name, business type and your message.
• Anything else you choose to share with us during a call or by email, such as information about your business, your marketing or your goals.

We do not ask for payment details, government ID numbers or health information through this website.

03. / How we use it

To reply and to do the work

• To answer your enquiry and follow up about it.
• To prepare a proposal or a quote, and to deliver services you agree to.
• To keep the business records we are required to keep.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for anything you would not reasonably expect from the reason you contacted us.

04. / Who else is involved

Service providers

A few providers handle information on our behalf, only as needed to run this site and reply to you:

• Our website host, Squarespace, which may set cookies needed to run the site and record basic visit statistics. See the Squarespace privacy policy.
• Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces on this page and receives your IP address when the fonts load.
• Our form and email providers, which deliver your message to our inbox.

Some of these providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.

05. / Cookies

No advertising cookies from us

Our own page code sets no cookies and runs no advertising or tracking pixels. Any cookies on this site come from the hosting platform described above.

06. / How long we keep it

Only as long as needed

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond and to keep reasonable business records, then delete them. If you become a client, we keep project records for the length of our work together and as required by law.

07. / Your choices

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent and ask us to delete it, subject to any legal duty to keep records. Email info@lydscaling.com and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.

Updates to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
